This event for Hyperloop-Denmark members gives us a unique insight to the status and future of Maglev and Hyperloop in China.
The speaker, Professor Deng Zigang, hails from Southwest Jiaotong University, China. His team successfully developed and tested the world’s first vacuum tube high-temperature superconducting maglev vehicle experimental system in 2014, pioneering the feasibility of vacuum tube maglev transportation and earning the title of China’s “hyperloop.” In 2021, they completed an engineering prototype of a high-speed HTS maglev vehicle.
This presentation will showcase the research advancements and future plans of Southwest Jiaotong University in high-speed maglev and vacuum tube transportation.
